WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a QA Engineer with a strong manual testing background and foundational automation skills, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality across the board. You’ll design and execute comprehensive manual test cases and help maintain light-weight automation coverage for critical flows. Working closely with developers, testers, and product owners, you'll proactively contribute to improving quality and ensuring timely delivery of features.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re seeking a proactive QA Engineer with a balanced approach — 70% Manual / 30% Automation — who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment. You should be confident owning manual testing efforts while also contributing to test automation for regression and critical paths. A curious mindset and the ability to dig into edge cases are essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, write, and execute detailed manual test cases for web and API functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, raise quality concerns, and ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues.
- Maintain and improve a small set of automation scripts (UI/API) for high-priority regression paths.
- Help triage bugs and drive their resolution in collaboration with devs.
- Document test results, log issues in JIRA, and communicate risks clearly.
- Contribute to improving QA processes and onboarding materials.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Hard Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Experience writing and executing test cases, bug reports, and test documentation.
- Basic experience with UI or API test automation (Selenium, REST Assured, or similar).
- Familiarity with Git, test case management tools, and agile workflows.
- Understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and web technologies.
- Bonus: knowledge of SQL and experience with tools like Charles or Postman.
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Proactive and self-driven — not afraid to ask questions or dig deeper.
- Solid communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Eagerness to learn automation and grow into a hybrid QA role.
- Good understanding of QA methodologies and defect lifecycles.
- English level: B2+ or higher.
